Objectives:
The meeting will provide a global platform to share global experience related to promotion of CA, from Asia and Pacific Region, to Africa, Europe and Eurasia. Experts from Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), Centre for Sustainable Agricultural Mechanization (CSAM), African Conservation Tillage Network (ACT), European Conservation Agriculture Federation (ECAF), and Conservation Tillage Research Centre (CTRC, China), will share the experiences of promoting CA, challenges and opportunities, CA technology development, and strategy improvement suggestions especially for promoting CA in Asia and Pacific.Moreover, the meeting will provide perspectives on the promotion of CA through the operationalization of Conservation Agriculture Alliance for Asia-Pacific (CAAAP), review and discuss the goals and objectives of CAAAP, the CA Strategic Framework for Regional and National Action, the CAAAP rules and operational procedures, and future planning.
